PageHalo — Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 14, 2026

Summary

PageHalo does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Your rules stay on your device.

What data does PageHalo access?

PageHalo reads the hostname of the page you are currently viewing in order to determine whether a colored border should be displayed. This information is compared against the rules you have configured and is never sent anywhere.

What data does PageHalo store?

PageHalo stores the domain-to-color rules you create using the Chrome Storage Sync API. This data is synced across your signed-in Chrome browsers by Google's built-in sync infrastructure. PageHalo itself does not operate any servers and does not transmit this data to any third party.

Analytics and tracking

PageHalo does not include any analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests.

Third-party services

PageHalo does not integrate with or send data to any third-party service.
